My interview last week on Jim Harold’s UFO Encounters podcast is now posted. Find it at http://media.blubrry.com/paranormalplus/p/content.blubrry.com/paranormalplus/Proof_At_Last_-_UFO_Encounters_27.mp3

Because of a scheduling error on the part of the show, my interview with Steven D’s Signs of the Dead on the People’s Paranormal Radio Network, originally scheduled for March 30, actually took place on March 23. Steven called me completely unannounced, and just went right into the interview without identifying himself. I had no idea who it was, and though at first it might be a gag. But like the professional I am, I went right with it and didn’t skip a beat. It was only at the very end that I asked what show this was! Great interview with a very funny ending. Catch it at http://www.pprnetwork.com/index.php/signsofthedead

We’ll be back live on the People’s Paranormal Radio Network this week with Christel and Mike on their Paranormal Outreach Radio show, Wednesday, March 28 at 10:15 pm Eastern. Find the player and chat room at http://www.pprnetwork.com/.

My next installment on the Byte Show with GeorgeAnn Hughes will be posted late this Friday, March 30. Go to http://www.thebyteshow.com/ThomasPFusco.html.

Saturday, March 31 at 12:00 am Eastern will find me speaking with Barb Adams on her Radio Amerika broadcast. Tune in at http://radioamerikanow.com/.

I will be appearing with Jeffrey Stirl on his Unknown Paranormal show on Sunday, April 1 at 9:00 pm Eastern.

It is with great sadness that we report our dear friend William J. Cody, owner of Paranormal Objects, Inc., lost his battle with cancer on the afternoon of March 25, 2012. Our deepest condolences are extended to his family and friends, and to his wife Vicky, who nursed him through the final weeks of his life. You will always be in our hearts, Bill. I enjoyed our many conversations at your shop. You were the real deal, a genuine soul, salt of the earth. Sharon and I are grateful for the time we spent with you before you left. We find comfort in knowing you are now at peace in the bosom of the Lord. Rest well, my friend. I will see you again.

Email Inquiry

I receive many interesting emails from readers and listeners. And I do answer them all. A listener to my interviews, who recalled my supergeometric theory’s predictions that physics will never establish a completely materialistic expression for gravity, wrote (along with my response):

Thom,

The US scientist say there close to finding the Higgs Boson are you wrong
and they are right. email back
Bill

Hi Bill, thanks for keeping in touch.

I think you might want to take another look at the article where you may have read this. As far as any results from United States sources, the hints at some sort of particle being at a similar GeV range as those being probed by CERN's LHC in Europe were the results of analyzing 10 years of data collected at the Fermi National Accelerator in Ill. Since this accelerator has now been closed, there will be no more such data coming from US sources in the foreseeable future. A quote from the latest article reads:

“Experiments at the Tevatron particle collider in Illinois are not statistically significant enough to confirm the existence of the Higgs boson where scientists theorize it is.”

As I've mentioned many times before, the mainstream press throws out spectacular headlines for sensational affect, but when you read the article, it never lives up to the hype. In truth, headlines like "scientists close in on the Higgs" is something more like searching for your lost keys: The more places you eliminate in your search, the greater the chance of you finding them where you have not yet looked. Of course, the difference is that you already KNOW your keys exist. For the scientists, they have a BELIEF that the Higgs exist.

There are still a number of problems with these findings that are not being discussed in the mainstream press. If you look back at reports out of CERN for the summer and fall of 2011, the news was very pessimistic. The reason was that no evidence for a possible Higgs was being found at the most probable GeV range. They went back and "adjusted" their models, and lo and behold! Now they're finding signals at a lower range. But the problem with this is that the particle is lighter than the models that originally pointed to the existence of the Higgs said it should be. There's now even talk that if they conclude this is the Higgs, it may require another "companion" particle to allow it to serve its proposed role. So even if they declare the Higgs, they still have to demonstrate how this lighter particle on its own generated all mass in the universe.

Recall that the issue revolves around finding a completely material explanation for gravity, and subsequently, a material explanation for the improbable order of our universe. To establish this, physics must find at least three particles: Higgs, dark matter and the graviton. I always try to mention this in my interviews when it comes up. My model predicts that they will never establish the existence of all three of these particles (the latter two for which there is no evidence at all from the LHC that scientists also hoped to find), and that prediction still stands. We are far, far away from a material explanation for gravity, and even further from demonstrating that gravity was the sole, material force that determined the ordered structure of our universe.

Hope this is helpful.

Tom Fusco

Latest News on “Faster Than Light” Neutrinos

2/27/2012

The case for faster-than-light neutrinos reported by CERN some months ago is beginning to fall apart as many in the scientific community suspected. It has been reported that the discovery of a faulty connection between the OPERA (the name for this project) GPS unit and the computer used to calculate the speed might be the culprit. In a separate experiment conducted by a project called ICARUS in Italy, a study of the very same CERN neutrino beam failed to show the variation in the beam’s energy level that would have resulted from a superluminal velocity.

Einstein’s relativity model of the universe (including his assertion that nothing physical can travel faster than light) continues to be repeatedly verified over the course of a century, sometimes in delightful and unanticipated ways. I always shake my head when some scientific authority sensationally proclaims an “Einstein was wrong” statement. Invariably, every such voice eventually fades into the cosmic background as it is squelched by the test of time.

In the News....

2/21/2012

You’ll hear me often speak of the misinformation and sensationalism that characterizes the mainstream press. I just encountered such a blatant example that I had to post it. AOL News had a news link to a story by the online news service Huffington Post that read,” Warm Weather Threatens Food Supply.” Thinking this could be something noteworthy, I clicked through to the article. That headline read, “Maple Syrup Winter 2012: Producers say Mild Weather Could Hurt Output.” It’s so ridiculous that it’s difficult to know how to respond. Sure, the writer should be fired….or is it the readership?

I recently submitted an emailed guest inquiry for an interview to FATE Radio, which is an offshoot of the famous FATE Magazine, FATE was well known for being on the leading edge of all things supernatural and strange. Not any more. The radio show’s host, Hilly Rose, informed me that FATE is now only interested in sensational stories and accounts, not in anything about theories. He first responded that he didn’t even understand my original inquiry letter, requiring me to write back explaining it to him, after which I received the aforementioned rejection. So sad. No wonder so many people don’t know who the Vice-President is, or where any particular state might be, or believe that discovery of the ‘God particle’ (the Higgs boson) will prove the existence of God. But is it the news media’s fault, or our own?

And That’s the News….such as it is.
